AKKHARARATCHAKUMARI VETERINARY HOSPITAL HOLDS ANNUAL MERIT-MAKING CEREMONY FOR 2025
On 6 April 2025, Associate Professor Dr. Sukanya Thongratskul, Director of the Veterinary Hospital, along with faculty members, veterinarians, staff, and students, jointly held the annual merit-making ceremony at the Small Animal Hospital Building, Akkhararatchakumari Veterinary College, Walailak University.
The ceremony included inviting three Buddhist monks to perform the religious rites and dedicate merits to all living creatures. Alms food was also offered to the monks with the purpose of bringing good fortune and blessings to faculty, veterinarians, staff, students, and all patients receiving treatment.
This activity reflects the spirit of compassion and respect inherent in the veterinary profession, which is a core value of the Veterinary Hospital’s operations.
