Fourth-year veterinary students at Akkhararatchakumari Veterinary College, Walailak University, took part in a hands-on training session on “Horse Anesthesia and Monitoring” under the course VET65-454 Large Animal Surgery.

The session was conducted under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Aree Laikul, a visiting lecturer and specialist in large animal anesthesia. Students practiced administering anesthesia in horses, monitoring vital signs throughout the procedure, and ensuring safety during the entire process.

This activity provided students with an invaluable opportunity to gain real-world experience, deepen their understanding of large animal surgery, and strengthen essential clinical skills. It also enhanced their confidence and readiness to become professional veterinarians in the future.
