Walailak Veterinary Student Takes the Stage at Chulalongkorn University to Share World-Class Show Dog Care Expertise
Mr. Teerawat Orachunaka, a fourth-year student at Akkhraratchakumari Veterinary College, Walailak University, was honored to serve as a special guest speaker in his capacity as a Professional All-Breed Show Dog Handler. He delivered a lecture to veterinary students at the 60th Anniversary Building, Faculty of Veterinary Science, Chulalongkorn University.
His presentation covered two key topics:
🐾 “How Professional All-Breed Handlers Take Care of Show Dogs” — professional techniques for caring for and preparing dogs for the show ring.
🐩 “Basic Knowledge of Show Dog Breed Standards” — essential knowledge of breed characteristics and show dog standards.
This invitation highlights the potential of a new generation of veterinary students who can successfully combine academic knowledge with hands-on experience in the companion-animal industry—embodying the confidence, expertise, and initiative expected of tomorrow’s veterinarians.
