The Akkhraratchakumari Veterinary College at Walailak University recently launched a strategic community service initiative at Kanlayanee Si Thammarat School to promote sustainable rabies prevention through public education and engagement. Led by dedicated faculty members and students, the program offered comprehensive workshops designed to empower local pet owners and students with essential knowledge on zoonotic disease control. By bridging the gap between academic expertise and community needs, this initiative directly supports the university’s commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically focusing on Good Health and Well-being. This collaborative effort underscores the vital partnership between educational institutions and the public in fostering a safer, healthier, and more resilient society for both humans and animals alike.
