Working Together: WU Volunteer Veterinary Team and Local Partners Plan for an Effective Community Camp
On 18 February and 6 March 2026, the Volunteer Veterinary Project team from Akkhraratchakumari Veterinary College, Walailak University, held meetings with local partners to plan and prepare for the upcoming Volunteer Veterinary Camp, ensuring that its activities would be well organized and responsive to community needs.
Participants represented several sectors, including the Mayor of Rom Mueang Subdistrict Municipality, representatives from the Phatthalung Provincial Livestock Office, the Mueang and Pa Phayom District Livestock Offices, community leaders, and local livestock volunteers. Together, they exchanged information, developed operational plans, and coordinated preparations for the camp.
This collaboration reflects the strength of a community network committed to improving animal health and the quality of life of local residents. The joint planning is expected to help ensure that the Volunteer Veterinary Camp delivers appropriate and effective services that provide meaningful benefits to both people and animals in the community.
