Working Together: WU Volunteer Veterinary Team and Local Partners Plan for an Effective Community Camp
On 18 February and 6 March 2026, the Volunteer Veterinary Project team from Akkhraratchakumari Veterinary College, Walailak University, met with local partner organizations to plan the camp and ensure that its program would be well prepared and responsive to community needs.
Participants represented multiple sectors, including the Mayor of Rom Mueang Subdistrict Municipality, the Phatthalung Provincial Livestock Office, livestock offices from Mueang and Pa Phayom districts, community leaders, and local livestock volunteers. Together, they exchanged information, developed operational plans, and coordinated preparations in every area.
This partnership reflects the strength of a network committed to improving animal health and community quality of life. The coordinated approach is expected to ensure that the Volunteer Veterinary Camp provides targeted, effective services and delivers maximum benefit to local residents and their animals.
