Second Volunteer Veterinary Camp Enters the Field, Developing Students’ Professional Skills and Spirit of Service
Akkhraratchakumari Veterinary College, Walailak University, organized its second Volunteer Veterinary Camp, giving first- through fourth-year students the opportunity to provide veterinary services in a real community setting.
During the camp, students applied their training in animal restraint, safe animal approach, needle handling, and medication administration in large animals. Faculty members and veterinarians provided close supervision to ensure that every procedure was performed correctly, confidently, and safely for both animals and personnel.
The camp offered an important learning experience that strengthened professional skills while cultivating volunteerism and social responsibility. It helped students progress toward becoming capable veterinarians genuinely prepared to serve their communities.
