First Steps toward a Veterinary Career: First-Year Students Meet Their Academic Advisors and Prepare for University Life
On Wednesday, 10 June 2026, Akkhraratchakumari Veterinary College, Walailak University, organized a “First-Year Students Meet Their Academic Advisors” activity at the Animal Anatomy Building. The event aimed to build positive relationships between students and their advisors while helping new students prepare for university life.
Academic advisors provided guidance on coursework, study planning, university life, and adjustment to veterinary education. The activity was designed to help students begin their university journey with confidence, clear goals, and a positive approach to their studies.
The event also served as an important foundation for building trust, a sense of belonging, and an effective student support system. This support will help students develop both academically and personally throughout their veterinary education.
