Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, Walailak University, won the 2022 Model Veterinary Award
Clinical Professor Dr. Suwichai Rojanasatian, DVM, Dean of Akkhararatchakumari Veterinary College, Walailak University, received the model veterinary award (professional dissemination and social services) for the year 2022 from the 45th International Conference on Veterinary Science (The International Conference on Veterinary Science 2022 : The ICVS 2022), organized by the Thai Veterinary Medical Association Under Royal Patronage, with Dr. Chalermchai Sri-On, Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives Presided over the opening ceremony and presented the award on November 23, 2022 at the IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center. Clinical Professor Dr. Suwichai, DVM, said that the award for model veterinarians is an award given to veterinarians who work to help society, can cause the results to be evident until it has a positive impact on the veterinary profession. ” I am extremely proud and honored to myself, the Institute and the field of dairy cattle veterinary medicine to receive this award. and would like to convey to everyone that the actions of individuals, communities, society and the environment All have a relationship that is connected either positively or negatively”.
For the 45th International Conference on Veterinary Science (The International Conference on Veterinary Science 2022 : The ICVS 2022) this year, organized under the theme “One Health for the New Era”, focusing on presenting academic information, research related to the control and prevention of animal epidemics using the One Health concept, which is a health solution concept that combines human health, animal health and environmental health for the development of good health in a holistic way. And emphasizing the application of the One Health principle in line with the current situation which the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives realizes and gives importance to the control of animal epidemics based on one health principle. Along with taking care of the well-being of people and farmers who raise animals to have a good living, have a stable living income for the development of the country’s foundation system and lead to sustainable development of the country.
