📢 On Tuesday, January 30, 2024, Walailak Botanic Park received and released animals into the forest area under the sky tower or wildlife breeding facility, and all animals are healthy. The types and numbers of animals are 6 capybaras, 20 hog deer, and 2 barking deer. The animals departed from Nakhon Ratchasima Zoo and Khon Kaen Zoo on January 29 and arrived at the Walailak Botanic Park on January 30, 2024.

📢 For operations to receive animals from the beginning. Traveling by truck and van, then releasing animals into the forest area of the Walailak Botanic Park. Under the close supervision of Dr. Marnoch Yindee, Director Livestock and Wildlife Hospital, and the two zoos’ veterinary and animal husbandry teams who also traveled. They are along with the staff of the Walailak Botanic Park who went to learn how to catch, transport, and release animals into the area.

📢 Operation to release animals into the area yesterday. In addition to the abovementioned team and 5th-year veterinary students from Akkhararajakumari Veterinary College, Walailak University, they joined to learn about animal inspection, treatment of animals, and blood testing to check the animal’s basic health.

📢 The Walailak Botanic Park is set to officially launch the wildlife breeding facility on February 10, 2024, in conjunction with the Bota Camping activity for recreational learning and a source of happiness for everyone, as the motto of the Walailak Botanic Park is “Walailak Botanic Park, Land of learning and happiness for all.”
