AQUATIC ANATOMY STUDY WITH VETERINARY MEDICINE (INTERNATIONAL PROGRAM) STUDENTS

[pvcp_1]

The fourth-year students in the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (International Program) at the Akkhararatchakumari Veterinary College conducted laboratory sessions in aquatic animal anatomy. The lessons included studying anatomical features of various aquatic species such as blood cockles, green mussels, and crabs.

Students also practiced blood collection techniques in aquatic animals and learned the Diff-Quik staining method to examine the morphology and structure of blood cells—an essential process in diagnosing aquatic animal health. This practical training provides crucial veterinary knowledge while giving students hands-on experience and strengthening the skills necessary for their future veterinary careers.
