Three Southern Veterinary Institutions Discuss Cooperation under a Memorandum of Understanding
On 17 February 2026, a meeting was held at Akkhraratchakumari Veterinary College, Walailak University, to discuss and exchange views on a Memorandum of Understanding among three institutions offering veterinary degree programs in southern Thailand: Akkhraratchakumari Veterinary College, Walailak University; the Faculty of Veterinary Science, Prince of Songkla University; and the Faculty of Veterinary Science, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya.
The deans of Akkhraratchakumari Veterinary College and the Faculty of Veterinary Science, Prince of Songkla University, together with administrators and faculty members, discussed avenues for academic cooperation, curriculum development, teaching and learning, research, academic services for society, and the effective sharing of resources and expertise.
The meeting marked an important step toward establishing a strong veterinary network in southern Thailand, raising the quality of veterinary graduate education to professional standards and responding sustainably to the needs of society and the nation.
