AVC welcomed visiting students from Ohio State University

          On February 14th , 2020 two medical students from Ohio State University participated in a study tour to Walaialak University and allied hospitals. Dr.Rattapan Pattanarangsan led a discussion session of “Rabies in Thailand” sharing public health and One Health perspectives from the real situation in Thailand from the past to present. At the end of the session, the visiting students had a chance to visit Walaialak Dog shelter as an example of rabies problem mitigation. One health concept is now a very important topic for every medical student and veterinary student as well. It is emphasized in the curriculum of every health science school worldwide.

           AVC is establishing an excellent research center for One Health and the center will soon attack many problems of zoonotic diseases or the diseases that can be transmitted from animal to human or from human to animal.
