Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Program (International Program)
Akkhraratchakumari Veterinary College was established since 2018. The college named after Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn KromPhra Srisavangavadhana. Akkhraratchakumari Veterinary College is the one and only university in Thailand that offers an international program in Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M.). The international program has founded in respond to the stakeholders’ need. According to the stakeholders in the veterinary fields, one of expectations from all stakeholders for veterinary graduates is to be excel in English communication. Especially, in the 21st century where the world has no border, veterinarians with English communication skill would have better opportunities to pursue career aboard and be successful globally.

Tuition fee
(Thai) 150,600 baht (Foreign) 225,600 baht per semester for each year.
tuition fee for six years.
10% of tuition fee will be used as a funding for each veterinary student in a yearly field trip aboard. However, if the field trip is cancelled for such year, this funding will be cumulated and used as a funding for the next academic year or used for a field trip in the country that has higher expenses.

The college will fund the cost to purchase IPAD equivalent to one basic. The students will be able to purchase upon admission, or keep it to use in any year before graduation.

Oversea trip
Akkhraratchakumari Veterinary College has supported all students for field study, internships abroad, with scholarships in amount of 10% of the tuition fee. Students will be able to choose the countries or places and they are the lectures to take students every year. The countries that have brought students, such as Indonesia and Taiwan.










Career pat
A veterinary student who passes all requirement courses and collects all credits will earn degree in Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M.) and can use Dr. in front of their names. D.V.M is one of the most popular career abroad. For example, in the United State of America, one out of six students is accepted to the Medical School, whereas one out of ten students is accepted to the Veterinary School. For this reason, a veterinarian would make at least USD70,000 per year or 180,000 baht per month (payscale.com). Following are some career paths:
- Companion veterinarian : work in animal clinics or hospitals or zoo; becoming specialists in many high demand fields such as orthopedic, surgery, exotic animals, and dermatology
- Livestock veterinarian : work in poultry farm, swine farm, cattle farm, aquatic farm
- Researcher
- Government officials :Department of Livestock Development, Department of Fisheries, Department of Marine and Coastal Resources, Department of National Parks, Wildlife, and Plant Conservation, Department of Animal Army, Department of Medical Sciences, Ministry of Public Health
- Faculty in university : veterinary school, agriculture school, animal science school or work for local government and municipal
- Private sectors : work in animal clinics or hospitals, research and development departments in medicine, vaccine, or equipment, diagnostic laboratories for Thai or international organizations, NGO
- Work abroad, such as ASEAN countries
