On Wednesday, May 11, 2022, the research committees of Veterinary College, Walailak University have organized “The strategy for supporting the research potential”. to follow up on the progress of doing research 1:1 of fiscal year 2022 at the meeting room on the 2nd floor of the Big Animal Hospital building. There is a rotation to present the research of all teachers 1-2 times a month. There were two faculty members who presented at this time.

A study of social returns is known as the social return on investment (SROI). It is a method for analysis that allows for the measurement of the advantages of projects with economic, social, and environmental worth. It is one of the strategies used to evaluate the social benefits of investments in scientific research and innovation as well as to evaluate the results. Importantly, the effects of research findings can be utilized to inform funding decisions.
The project titled “Social return of investment” Social Return Analysis (SROI) has been scheduled by the committees of the Veterinary College on Thursday, May 5, 2022 via the Zoom Meeting technology. Assistant Professor Dr. Veterinary Therdsak Yano, a lecturer at the Faculty of Veterinary from Chiang Mai University, presented the concept of valuing research results that will bring benefits back to society. The authoring of a research grant and the organizations that sponsor the grants can utilize it to further their own research by taking the value to society and SROI into consideration.

On Thursday, April 21, 2022, the committees of the Veterinary College, Walailak University organized a project “Publication planning and care for graduate students” by live broadcast via Facebook Fanpage: VET WU, and Zoom Meeting system. The guest is Associate Professor Dr. Worawan Phanphiphat, Acting Dean of the School of Agricultural Technology and Food Industry.
According to university policy, all faculty members are required to 1:1 publish research articles in addition to engaging students in teaching and learning. Experience is necessary to function in both domains effectively. Regular operational planning knowledge, so preparation for work publishing and student supervision, especially for graduate students Because of this, it is crucial to the faculty’s research operations.
The Royal College of Veterinary Medicine Walailak University committee organized a project titled “Publication planning and care for graduate students” on Thursday, April 21, 2022 through live, Facebook Fanpage. Associate Professor Dr. Worawan Phanphiphat, Acting Dean of the School of Agricultural Technology and Food Industry, presents awards to VET WU and the Zoom Meeting system. Mr. Lecturer was a teacher in the previous fiscal year 2021 with the most publications (18 articles) written, and he successfully oversaw the number of graduate students. To give academic members advice on how to properly plan, publish, and look after graduate students
