AVC sends out laboratory equipment for anatomy course to students at home during Covid-19
Due to Covid-19 situation in Thailand, AVC realizes how important that our students can achieve the learning objectives of the courses and to enhance student practical laboratory skills through a remote learning approach. AVC has tried to find many optimal teaching methods to provide hand-on experiences in such laboratory course. Anatomy course is one of the laboratory courses that aims to provide a dissection skill and hand-on anatomy learning to vet students. However, the second-year vet students cannot attend the anatomy laboratory on campus due to the Covid-19 pandemic. AVC therefore sent out the dissection equipment to vet students at their homes. Students can use the equipment during the online teaching sections and can practice the dissection skill at home. Each student received a set of six dissection equipment: two surgical blades, one blade holder, one forceps, a pair of scissors, and a pair of bone scissors. The dissection equipment was well packed before shipping via a mail to ensure that the vet students received a good quality equipment in order to accomplish learning objectives despite the limitation of online learning.
